In Noratus, 🇩🇪 Germany is making an important contribution to ensuring that more people on site will have access to clean water in the future. Even the youngest are learning how important a clean environment and the protection of nature are: the children of Kindergarten No. 2 in Noratus are delighted about the new water treatment facility installed directly on their premises, which has now been officially inaugurated.

“In the future, only clean water will flow back into Lake Sevan from here, and the treated water can be reused in agriculture – an important contribution in times of climate change,” emphasized Ambassador Claudia Busch.

As part of the #EU4Sevan initiative, jointly funded by 🇩🇪 Germany and the 🇪🇺 European Union, 🇦🇲 Armenian municipalities are working together with the Ministries of Environment, Territorial Administration, and Infrastructure 🤝 on sustainable, eco-friendly solutions for the “Pearl of Armenia.”

All partners will continue the project together in the future – #EU4Sevan+ will involve even more municipalities and aims to implement nature-based wastewater solutions in all communities along the shores of Lake Sevan. 💦
