Armavir Main Canal Rehabilitation Project Completed

30.10.2025

Our team has successfully completed the comprehensive technical inspection and rehabilitation design for the Armavir Main Canal.
The project involved detailed visual and technical assessments of all canal structures, carried out in collaboration with the operating organization’s specialists. Based on the collected data, the canal was divided into three distinct sections, with individual calculations prepared for the headworks and the Coastal Canal.

The rehabilitation plan includes sediment and debris removal, restoration of eroded slopes and thermal joints, and repair of malfunctioning valves, pipes, and compensators to prevent water loss and ensure uninterrupted water delivery to consumers.
Additional measures include leveling and restoring service roads, repairing deteriorated surfaces, and equipping monitoring points with modern flow measurement devices.

As part of the same program, our team also conducted a detailed inspection of the Araks River dam, located on the Armenia–Turkey border. The inspection revealed several technical and structural issues that require immediate attention. These matters are currently under active discussion with the client to define prompt corrective actions.

This comprehensive project aims to enhance the hydraulic capacity of the Armavir Main Canal, improve operational reliability, and ensure sustainable and secure water management across the region.
