Works on cleaning the river and constructing embankments have been carried out to restore the destroyed and prevent the demolition of the most degraded sections.
The reinforced concrete bridge over the river in the village of Gegharkunik is in a semi-dangerous state,
the concrete cover of the bridge has been destroyed, the reinforced concrete bearing structures are damaged and deformed. In order to prevent the possible collapse of the bridge from spring floods, it is planned to dismantle the bridge and construct a new reinforced concrete bridge in the same place.
Karmirgyugh School No. 2 is located directly adjacent to Gavaraget and does not have a fence on the bank. There is also no fence along the 1.5m wide pedestrian crossing leading to the school along the river, where the height of the unprotected embankment is 3m. It is planned to build a metal mesh fence in these sections.
