In Noratus, πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ Germany is making an important contribution to ensuring that more people in the region will have access to clean water in the future. Even the youngest are learning how vital a clean environment and the protection of nature are: the children of Kindergarten No. 2 in Noratus are delighted about the new water treatment facility installed directly on their premises, which was officially inaugurated.

β€œIn the future, only clean water will flow from here back into Lake Sevan, and the treated water can be reused for agriculture – an important contribution in times of climate change,” emphasized Ambassador Claudia Busch.

As part of the #EU4Sevan initiative, jointly funded by πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ Germany and the πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Ί European Union, πŸ‡¦πŸ‡² Armenian municipalities are working together with the Ministries of Environment, Territorial Administration, and Infrastructure 🀝 to develop sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions for the β€œPearl of Armenia.”
