In Noratus, π©πͺ Germany is making an important contribution to ensuring that more people in the region will have access to clean water in the future. Even the youngest are learning how vital a clean environment and the protection of nature are: the children of Kindergarten No. 2 in Noratus are delighted about the new water treatment facility installed directly on their premises, which was officially inaugurated.
βIn the future, only clean water will flow from here back into Lake Sevan, and the treated water can be reused for agriculture β an important contribution in times of climate change,β emphasized Ambassador Claudia Busch.
As part of the #EU4Sevan initiative, jointly funded by π©πͺ Germany and the πͺπΊ European Union, π¦π² Armenian municipalities are working together with the Ministries of Environment, Territorial Administration, and Infrastructure π€ to develop sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions for the βPearl of Armenia.β
