Core Values Image

2024 – Project Cost Estimation for the Following Works Commissioned by the Water Committee of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure (MTAI):
a) Capital Renovation of the Hermon-Yelpin Gravity Pipeline and the Rind-Areni Section
b) Reconstruction of approximately 900 meters of the Nork Canal
c) Reconstruction of Branch III-a of the Lower Hrazdan Canal

Based on field studies, discussions with the operating organization, and technical requirements, the following preliminary measures are proposed under this contract:

Nork Section

  • A deteriorated open canal passing beneath a roadway and nearby structures—with a damaged base and sidewalls—will be replaced with a 60-meter steel pipeline (diameter: 1200mm) to prevent filtration, improve reliability, and ensure the conveyance of up to 1500 L/sec of flow.
  • Along approximately 840 meters of the canal, depending on the degree of damage, cleaning works will be performed to remove sediment and debris. Additional concrete works will be carried out to restore the lining, base, and damaged sections—while maintaining the canal’s designed flow capacity.

 Hermon-Yelpin and Rind-Areni Sections

  • Construction of a 660-meter reinforced concrete L-shaped canal (type LR-60) is planned, including associated water intake and discharge structures.
  • Additionally, complete renovation of a 300-meter section of the metal pipeline in the Rind-Areni area is proposed.

Branch III-a of the Lower Hrazdan Canal

  • This section is currently in the field study phase, but according to technical specifications, reconstruction works are planned in the most damaged segments of the canal.
