2024 – Design and Cost Estimation for the Replacement of Water Pipelines on Yeghishe Charents, Vahan Teryan, Martin Mikaelyan, Azatamartikneri, Mesrop Mashtots, and Energetikner Streets in Metsamor, Armavir Region

As part of this assignment, and prior to the planned asphalting of the streets and improvement of adjacent areas, it became necessary to replace the underground infrastructure, including water and sewer pipelines, along the streets listed in the contract.

These pipelines, originally constructed during the Soviet era using steel pipes, were in a deteriorated condition, leading to frequent breakdowns and significant water losses.

The proposed engineering solutions were aimed at:

• Ensuring long-term uninterrupted operation of the water pipelines;
• Maintaining the current operational parameters of the system;
• Simplifying maintenance and management operations;
• Increasing the flexibility and reliability of the system.
