Design Works for the Construction of Sewer Networks in the Settlements of Yeghvard, Kasakh, and Bujakan in the Nairi Community
Next project implemented by BIM Engineering: 2022 – Design Works for the Construction of Sewer Networks in the Settlements of Yeghvard, Kasakh, and Bujakan in the Nairi Community
Due to an increase in the number of households and the improvement of surface infrastructure in these settlements, it became necessary to build a domestic wastewater drainage system. Based on site surveys and design work, it was proposed to construct a centralized sewer system to resolve the unsanitary conditions that had arisen. These issues were largely caused by wastewater being discharged into nearby ravines through makeshift sewage pipelines constructed independently by some households.
Hydraulic modeling of the sewer network was carried out using SewerCAD software. Economically optimal pipe diameters were selected based on daily wastewater flow patterns, discharge volumes, and sedimentation velocities. The design also included manholes and other related infrastructure components.
